We love the sultry days of September when the grapes are ripe and it's harvest time! We have been stomping grapes from our first harvest in 2012 and continue to use this traditional method. Now we share the fun with you! We will be offering grape stomps along with live music all weekend and great food!

We are excited to share that our Grape Stomp Festival is generating incredible enthusiasm, and all SATURDAY evening tickets are sold out.! We have afternoon tickets available. If you haven’t secured your spot yet, now is the time!
Additionally, our evening dinner reservations are just about to capacity. While we always welcome walk-ins, please be aware that wait times may be much, much longer than usual. A WINE DINNER EXPERIENCE
Come on a flavorful journey of culinary delight as you indulge in a meticulously crafted, exquisite six-course menu of some of the most desired specialties by the renowned Chef Roland Parny, expertly paired with carefully selected imported wines!
This culinary journey will commence with vibrant crudités, followed by Chef's renowned seafood crustad that captures the essence of coastal Italy. A refreshing sorbet will cleanse your palate before the rich and savory beef bourguignon takes center stage. Next, enjoy the delicate flavors of Paris breast, a true testament to Chef Parny’s artistry. Finally, indulge your sweet tooth with a luscious ganache cake, perfectly paired with a wine that complements its richness. Wines will be announced one week prior to the dinner event.

Harvest Festival

Who is up for grape stomping? Who can forget the iconic scene in I Love Lucy, where Lucy experienced her first grape stomping? Well, we cannot! It is a tradition that goes back to 3rd Century AD where a group of the Erotes harvested and stomped grapes at Vindemia, a rural festival. The purpose of this old tradition, is to release the juices and begin fermentation. Although this tradition is no longer used for its original purpose, it is an excellent way to create an experience for family and friends!
Cassell Vineyards loves this tradition and has created a couple of options for you to add even more excitement to your event!

Meet the owners
We are so glad you are here! We are Bill & LeighAnn Cassell, the two people on the far left of the picture and we are the owners of Cassell Vineyards.
Cassell Vineyards was inspired by a series of events that over time have finally collided into a beautiful setting for weddings and wine! It started several years ago when a local vintner took us under his wing as we developed an interest in growing a vineyard. A couple years after we had established our first sector of grapes, we fell in love with the Italian countryside while celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary in the Tuscany and Chianti wine regions of Italy. We returned home with plans to create the same atmosphere with our vineyard so we, and others, could enjoy it right here in our own backyard. Finally, our oldest daughter, having helped us plant and nurture the vineyard, was the first one to plan her enchanting wedding ceremony here! And, thus, the seed was planted.
Our hope is that you and your closest family and friends are transported to the beautiful countryside of Tuscany to celebrate love, family and community right here in Mansfield, Missouri.
