Who is up for grape stomping? Who can forget the iconic scene in I Love Lucy, where Lucy experienced her first grape stomping? Well, we cannot! It is a tradition that goes back to 3rd Century AD where a group of the Erotes harvested and stomped grapes at Vindemia, a rural festival. The purpose of this old tradition, is to release the juices and begin fermentation. Although this tradition is no longer used for its original purpose, it is an excellent way to create an experience for family and friends!
